Solar-On-Line participants learned the hands-on / how-to of PV installation in July 2001.

This system can sell excess power to the grid; and it can provide back-up power from batteries when the grid goes down.

2400 Watt Grid-tie PV system Batteryless - Kingston, NY

This 2400 Watt grid-tied PV system was installed in Kingston, NY for Mike Koczmiersky, an engineer at SunWize Technologies Inc.

Solar-On-Line participants learned on the jobsite. Some will look for work in the PV industry. Others took the course as a first step in starting their own business. Mike took advantage of great financial incentives offered in New York State.
