Ken Olson
is principal of SőL Energy. He is an educator, solar consultant and credentialed Vocational Industrial Trainer in renewable energies.

As Co-Founder and Executive Director of Solar Energy International (SEI)(1991 - 1999), a non-profit educational organization, he was responsible for organizational development, fundraising and the initial development of SEI's Renewable Energy Education Program, teaching hands-on, how-to skills in renewable energy technologies to approximately 200 students annually.

He also developed and taught SEI's Internet-based distance learning program in photovoltaics.

As a Consultant to the World Health Organization, he developed technical and field training courses for the installation, maintenance and repair of photovoltaic systems in support of the Cold Chain Program for vaccine refrigeration. He regularly conducts training, technical support and program evaluation to Ministries of Health throughout Central and South America.

Ken Olson has a Master's Degree in Environmental Planning in Solar Technology from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ; and a Bachelor of Science in Building Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY.

He currently lives in Oaxaca, México with his family.
