Global climate change and the rapid loss of biological diversity on our planet are today's greatest challenges facing mankind. SõL assisted Remote Power Inc and the Center for Resource Solutions to produce a decision-making tool the for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to evaluate how environmental conservation projects may benefit from using solar and renewable energy resources and technologies.

Renewable Energy Strategy Tool
The Nature Conservancy's partners, including many Environmental Organizations, will use the "Renewable Energy Strategy Tool" to evaluate and develop strategies which use renewable energy resources to mitigate threats to the environment.

The many possible solutions include renewable energies such as photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, micro-hydro, wind power, sustainable building design and fuel efficiency.
