Description of Course & Project
The PV Design & Installation course will combine classroom and hands-on practical skills learning. The PV systems installed during the course are in direct support of Instituto Tonantzin Tlalli (ITT), an Eco-Agro-Technology Center located in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Participants will learn basic PV system design and gain hands-on, how-to skills and experience by working with a variety of PV systems to power the ITT training and demonstration center.

There are no pre-requisites or prior technical knowledge for this course. It is open to anyone with the desire to learn the practical application of solar electricity.

PV Systems to be installed at ITT will power facilities including workshop, office, classroom, kitchen, dormitory, three small residences and water pumping for domestic water supply and crop irrigation. The systems will serve as demonstration of a range of PV options available to local residents and communities.
